Welcome to the CQAB; a research support service of the UAH which has been devised and designed to encourage the cooperation between University and the business sector in the Chemical and Pharmaceutical fields, as well as among other related areas. The CQBA has been structured into three main areas:
The Fine Chemicals Pilot Plant Unit is mainly located in the northern wing of the building. It consists of twelve laboratories fully equipped for chemical synthesis and another three industrial rooms with a total surface of 365 sqm.
The Bioanalytics and Quality Control Unit is located in the centre of the CQBA building. It has six properly adapted and equipped laboratories to house the analytical instruments and the preparation of samples.
The Biotechnology Unit is located in the southern wing of the CQBA building and consists of four laboratories adapted to house 2-4L bioreactors to carry out fermentation processes and enzymatic reactions.
